Yes sir. I guess I'm not 100% sure what we are seeing. This dude just came up outta the dagger and seemingly took the dagger from Lucians hand yet Lucian still has the dagger-correct? And Lucian spoke to the dude to say we mean him no harm. Is the dude still looking like he is about to attack? Does he LOOK solid? Should I roll an intelligence check (*guffaw*) to see if I think it's real from the way it produced itself from the dagger and the fact that the dagger is still in Lucians hand? -Sorry for all the questions within questions

A will save DC20 before you take your action would be preferable.

The wizard looks ready to attack.

That's cool. I assume I wait until it is my turn in the initiative to do the will save.

Lucian told the 'maggot king' to tell the wizard that we meant no harm. He hasn't spoken to the wizard directly, as he has suspicions about what is going on, but everything is happening to fast for him test any theories, or discount any possibilities.

Fair. I was really just making sure I was understanding what was going on with the dual knives, etc.

Perhaps the rat is correct and the wizard is an illusion. If no one wises to engage the wizard we can step back out of initiative. Otherwise Kiara and Lyeas are still up.

Perhaps there are questions, the answers to which would drive us mad. While at the same time, the mystery will do the same. So we are cursed to choose between two, which flavor of madness do we fear less?
OR
We need to interact with an illusion in some way for us to have a chance to recognize that it is an illusion.
*Damn. My inane ramblings would have been funnier if i had gotten my post in before yours

If others want to, I'm fine being out of initiative. Besides that though, was the rat's last statement in common or abyssal?

Sorry about that. Assume common unless otherwise noted.

So unless anyone objects - we're out of initiative. Sorry that was so jerky. The nature of illusions. Freeswim again.

Lucian rolled to identify the dagger earlier. But stuff went down before he could identify it, should he roll again?
I (and Lucian) suspect that the dagger isn't magical, and the magic he detected was the symbol under the dagger, but I would like to be sure the dagger isn't magical. If our GM would like, Lucian can cast Detect Magic in the main thread.

No, Lucian can see that the dagger is not magical.

To get to the scrolls, Lucian would have to move near space A3_d6, right? Also can Lucian make some kind of knowledge check to know that a Rogue might be able to disable the symbol of striking? Or is John wrong about that, and a rogue couldn't?
