Airbarge: A vessel tied beneath aerwhal, used by Gatherer’s Guild, manned by gnomes.
Airship: 3-4 in possession on Li Salagh. Used for gathering things. Halflings are brought along on outings in airships for good luck because they ward off the Black Wind, which is escaped essence of the Mad God. Gnomes use and operate airship blimps. Can hold 8 gnomes or 2 people. Halflings take up same space as gnomes. The airships are docked on piers jutting off from the crown of the tower of Adakan. Powered by an imprisoned air element. Located at the Tower of the Winds.
Arcane Magic: Consists of 3 styles: Elven verbal magic from the Song of Araeshi, a Sydrieth movement based magic called Sysrian Dance, and Dwarven written, symbolic magic from the Dwarven Runes known as Odroch Nulghen.
Black Winds: Escaped essence of the Mad God. Black winds make the dead rise up from the grave. The environment becomes supernaturally dark, filled with ghost spirits, rising dead.
Bounce: Kill someone. Bodies dumped off the colossus have been bounced.
Branded: Anyone working hard and getting no where. Taken from the brands placed on the lower class humans.
Circlets: Circlets must be worn by guilders, faction agents and Patrizios alike while engaging in all official functions. The circlets are tracked by the Guardians of the Rod and Cup arcane order. Trespassing, and other infractions of the law will be prosecuted individually and the faction involved will be made to compensate those wronged. Trade market in the belly for stolen circlets. Circlet types: Golden- For Patrizio and Noble Family Silver- For Extended Nobility Wooden- For Guild Members, Order Members, etc.
Colossus: Enchanted Giant who moves slowly through the world to avoid entanglement in the wylds. Beacon of life for Humans, High Elves, Wood Elves, Dwarves, Halflings, Sydrieth, Gnomes, Tieflings. Has been in motion for 50-75 years. A few thousand survivors gathered from several dying civilizations retreat to the mountainous shoulders of a fallen colossus, each culture bearing the grand artifacts and darkest secrets of their kind. To stay ahead of the surging fringe their greatest magi resurrect the ancient mass, and compel it to flee the yawning wylds. The trickster deity manifested corporeally to battle the Black Worm Marquis of Adakan for control of the ruined city of Li Salagh. The Marquis was slain, but the Cup Bearer vanished after the battle. The Arturi shepherded their flock onto the city, and joined the ranks of those who raised the ancient colossus and made their escape from the encroaching wylds.

Darkblood or Blood: A tiefling. As in That darkblood merchant is smuggling spore. I can smell it on him.
Exter Hall: An area of extraterritoriality, exempt from local laws. A kind of neutral territory (or alternatively a DMZ) between, and in some rare cases inside of, faction holdings.
Feygent: A representative of the Harmonium who becomes involved in political affairs on the first tier.
Feyid: “Elf” as referred to by one elf to another.
First Tier: The street level of the city. When someone asks you to keep your business honest they say On the first tier.

Losing your Halo: Being demoted from a status that includes use of a circlet allowing safe passage through opposing faction holdings.
Patrizio: An honorific given to any noble when their exact title is unknown.
Over the Side: where it it said people go when they vanish.
Rex: Slang for the crown royal platinum coin. Both singular and plural He vexed their rex.
Scaleback: a dragonborn.
Schiavs: The lower class of indentured servants. All human and mostly of Imperial descent.
Tame: A half elf raised on the walking city. As opposed to a wyld elf.
Vade: Insane mutterings. Names for the Vaederic demon tongue spoken by servants of Mothgolbnir, The Whispering Darkness.
